First:
Happy Belated birthday to Alex, Brian, and Rob (I actualy got to wish most of them happy birthday, but they need ljay ones too!)
Happy birthday also to Josie...which I already said, really.
And for those who didn't know, happy birthday to me...I turned 25 two weeks ago. No, it doesn't feel any different.
So...I can never remember what I posted about before. Disney was a lot of fun, even with family issues.
Got back to work, and have been bouncing in and out of the field ever since.
This week, for instance. I was told to take Monday off, since I'd be in VT working 10 hour days (at a minimum) Tuesday through Friday.
I get to site Tuesday, only to be told that they won't need me past Wednesday morning. So I got back to the office around lunchtime Wednesday, and now need to work 10+ hours a day to get my 40 in, and still make it out of here in time to celebrate my brothers birthday Friday evening. Joy.
But, the good thing about having a three day weekend and being home everynight (albeit after a long day) is that we were busy!!
We ordered our Wii, washed and put away dishes (THE DISHWASHER BLOWS!! I have to call management about it...didn't even get bread crumbs off a knife), bought me a new computer desk, put said desk together, got new catfood (will explain below), put up my computer (Rob did it while I was gone :)), set up new PC, and started the updates...yeah.
I also ordered a new keyboard and mouse, because my keyboard is gross, and the mouse will (hopefully) not hurt my wrist as much. I also picked out the chair I want, and will need a chair mat (money money money).
DEAR GOD my typing skills and concentration SUCK right now.
So, we think Kaylee is/was allergic to the food I was giving them. Her poo STANK. like, death stink so bad you evacuate until it clears. BAD. So I went to the pet store and the clerk suggested a few kinds...I brought home two kinds, both which the cats like, and one (salmon) that Kaylee LOVES...and Gantu doesn't. So, that means that Gantu will be slightly less inclined to eat her food. Hopefully.
And there has already been a noted lessening of the stench!! Still smelly, but not nearly as bad, and we're still transitioning.
In other news, I am finally catching up...on emails, scheduling, and bills. Not that I was really behind. Just disorganized.
...And those dots right there were where I spent two hours getting equipment for an Emergency Response...that got called off right after we got all the equipment. Yah.
So. That is as much of an update as I feel like doing right now.
